A Marine Engineer all his working life, working up to Technical Director and then MD of a ship management company, Ted Ranson spent much of his life at, or close to, the sea. His beloved wife of over 63 years spent many years raising money for RNLI; this combination of facts has inspired the family to continue to raise funds. This page is set up in loving memory of Ted, who was a wonderful father to John and grandfather to Kirsty. Anybody who knew Ted will agree that he was one of life’s true gentlemen and will be greatly missed by us all.
